Is it possible with FBackup to create a mirror backup IDENTICAL to the source?
I ran a backup of this type and it only copied new and modified files/folders, it didn´t delete them.
Please note there should be at least one file to be backed up in order for the backup to be executed. If no files are backed up, the excluded/deleted files are not removed from destination.
If you still have the problem, please send us the backup log from View->Job Logs->Last backup log to info[at]fbackup[dot]com
I have the same problem here. I use FBackup 4.5.241 on Windows 7.
The Volume Shadow Copy service is already running and the backups are done normally, if any new file is added.
I have the "Remove excluded or deleted files from backup" option enabled, but if I run a backup task, the removed files from the source are not deleted from the destination.
I've also tested it by making a test backup. After the backup was completed, I've added more files in the destination directory, I've changed the source files and I added some more source files.
After running the test backup again, it finished successfully by mirroring the files from source to the destination by replacing any modified files and adding any new files, but the extra files from the destination weren't deleted.
Is there any other option that I may have forgotten to check out?
Thank you for any answers.
