IPC Server - Cannot connect pipe client

Upgraded application to FBackup 6.5 build 373.
I now get error messages related to "connecting to the backup service"
A box comes up asking:
"Do you want to restart the IPC server?"
Answering "yes" results in same messages.
Answering "no" exits FBackup.
I tried to add an attachment of the screen print, but it would not allow me to attach a .jpg or .pdf?

Hi,
Please make sure the antivirus/firewall does not block the bservice.exe process.
Put it in the exceptions list of the antivirus/firewall.
Also check the Backup4all service from Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services, to make sure it is started and working properly.

I had previously updated to the latest level (Build 373), and then had the IPC issue.
I downloaded the complete application (fbsetup-full.exe).
I ran it.
It stated that that version was already installed - "Did I want to remove it?"
I uninstalled and then re-installed.
This seems to have fixed the issue.

Hi,
Can you please send us the service logs from "c:\ProgramData\Softland\FBackup 7\ServiceLogs\" to info[at]fbackup[dot]com ?

I have the same issue. Several updates applied, but still sometimes the service could not be started.
I stop the service, while I run games. So, the error occurs mostly after I run games, I think.
Could you please fix this issue?

Hi,
Is there any antivirus/firewall that could block the service?

On Win 10,I get the same error every time I update FBackup, even if all security programs are disabled. I found a workaround, though - I simply boot into safe mode and then try to launch FBackup. Of course I get the same error, the IPC server doesn't start in safe mode - but when I boot back into normal mode, the problem is fixed.
No idea why this works, typical goofy Windows behavior.
I hope this helps.
