FBackup hangs "Initializing Backup" at 0%

I couldn't Cancel or Stop the hung backup. I ended up installing the latest version of FBackup which appeared to restart the FBackup services. The backup was still hung at 0% but I was able to Cancel it.

This is an intermittent problem.

NOTE: Contrary to part of the log file, I have no problem accessing the destination drive via Windows Explorer.

Here's the log file:

Hi,

It seems the bservice.exe process did not start. Please make sure the firewall does not block that process.
You can also go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Services to restart the service or manually start it.
Then please restart FBackup and run again the backup manually.
Do you still have the problem?

I'll try your solution the next time it happens and let you know.

Thanks!

Restarting the bservice fixed the issue but it still hangs up again periodically - every few weeks.
