Saving and restoring jobs

Post by CliveP »

I have a goodly number of FBackup jobs, and I wish to do a clean OS install to a new HD, then restore the jobs to a new installation of FBackup. How do I save and restore the job scripts ?

Hi,

You need to create a new job for FBackup configurations. In the sources list, select from the top list "FBackup configurations". Run that backup.
After you reinstall Windows, please install FBackup, then open the .fkc catalog file for the above job from the backup destination.
The backup job will recreated in application and you can run the restore.

Hi,

I'm glad it works fine now.
Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html
