bTray.exe error

Post by Baldy »

Since the last version of FBackup Build 813 have have two W7 computers that can not open FBackup no matter what I do. I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling. No luck. Tried the other repair options of this problem in other forms on FBackup board with no luck. The error I get is Exception: Elog Error in Module bTray.exe at 007FC732. Help..... if problem not solved in a few days I will be forced to use another backup program. I have used Fbackup for years.

Hi,

Please go to File->Options->Startup.
Uncheck the "Show tray icon" and press OK.
Do you still have the problem?

Also, I have now uninstalled the program and my system will not reinstall it. Run the install program and nothing happens...... looks like time to move on...

Hi,

Please make sure the application processes is not running in Task Manager.
Close the following: btray.exe, bbackup.exe, fbackup.exe

None of these processes are running. Beginning to look hopeless.

Hi,

Please make sure the antivirus/firewall does not block the installation of FBackup.
