Hi
When I do a backup then Fbackup creates a .fkc file. However, it looks like that when I do 2 backups there is still only one .fkc file, is that normal?
I'm doing full backups every day so theoretically it should be possible to replace some folders from a backup made 2 days ago and replace some folders from a backup made 1 day ago? If that's possible, how are going to do that when you have only one .fkc file?

Hi,
In FBackup, the Full backup type does not keep multiple file versions, only the latest file version is preserved.
If you want to keep track of multiple file versions and only back up new and modified files, you should use our commercial application Backup4all with the Incremental backup type.

So you mean the Backup4all professional version for about 50$. There I need to setup mirror and incremental backups, meaning that it stores different versions of files and only backups files which have changed?

Hi,
Yes, Backup4all keeps multiple versions of the same files.
If you use the Incremental backup type, only new and modified files will be backed up.Posted 7 months ago #
