Unable to restore files to new hard drive

    Good day:

    My backup files are showing in the following format:

    1_C.z01
    1_C.z02
    KPZ582.tmp

    Why is this happening and how do I restore these important files.

    My operating system is Windows XP Professional sp3
    My files were backup on an external hard drive
    I have attempted to convert to WinZip, WinRAR and I am still having issues.

    Thank you for your attention to this issue.

    hi,

    You can restore the files using FBackup or you can manually extract the zip archives using WinZip 9.1 or later.
