Hi, I would like the program to start in the tray apon boot up or at least minimized instead of the program opening in the middle of the screen each time I boot up, is this possible? Currently it seems I need to minimize it to the tray or click the tray icon and select Hide to achieve desired behavior everytime I boot up.

BTW, my interest in starting the program when Windows starts is that I was under the assumption that the program had to be running in order for scheduled backups to take place but I closed the program and when a scheduled backup was set to run it started the program in the tray and ran the backup and left it running in the tray which is fine with me. So I guess I just wanted to get confirmation that starting FBackup when Windows starts is not necessary in order for scheduled backups to run?

Hi,
There is no need to have FBackup running in background for a scheduled backup to start.
A scheduled task starts even if FBackup is closed.Posted 8 months ago # -
Great news, thanks.
