Giveaway - 50 licenses for Backup4all Pro

We are organizing a giveaway, where 50 licenses for Backup4all Professional (total value of $2500) will be given to 50 users. All you have to do is create a video tutorial about FBackup and upload it to Youtube - there is no drawing so as long as there are licenses left from those 50, you will receive one too. Here are the details: Backup4all Giveaway.

Lets say I'm backing up Mirror style a folder that has many subfolders. As the Source I specify something like C:\Users\Myname. Then I would like to Exclude all the contents of a subfolder named say C:\Users\Myname\Miscelaneous, so that I don't backup it's files within this backup job (I will use another Destination for this subfolder in a separate job).

I've tried specifying the name of the subfolder (Miscelaneous) as an exclude Filter (ckecking "Use as a exclude filter" box), but it doesn't exclude it... it still backs it up.

I've tried specifying the name of the subfolder (Miscelaneous) as an include Filter (unckecking "Use as a exclude filter" box), but then it doesn't backup anything at all, i.e. none of the other folders and files I do want to backup.

When specifying a Filter, FBackup does not allow for the use of the backslash (\) symbol to build something like excluding Miscelaneous\*.*

    What can I do?

    Thanx.

    Hi,

In FBackup you can only filter the files, you cannot filter the folders.
If you want to be able to also filter the folders, please try using Backup4all, our commercial product.
