    Hi,

    Where do I change the default icons for my backups i.e. within FBackup, not for a shortcut? I already have 3 different icons for older jobs, but can't find the section to so it. Is it no longer supported?

    Your help is much appreciated

    Hi,

    You cannot change the backup icons from FBackup.

    Sorry I'm confused.

    When I open FBackup, I can see my jobs in the left hand pane and a number of the jobs have non-default icons which I had changed in a previous version (e.g. people, shield, server/container symbol), although there were originally a lot available then.
    I presume from your comment that this feature had since been removed or hidden. I've taken a quick look at the .fkc file using a SQLite browser, but can't find an obvious reference to the changed icon location.

    1. Which version of FBackup can I use to alter the choice of icons?
    2. Can you add this feature to your wishlist - ability to change icons for jobs (within FBackup)?
    3. Can I manually edit the fkc file to point to other icons within FBackup (they do still work, I just can't appear to access them for FBackup)?

    Thanks

    Hi,

    There wasn't such an option in FBackup.

    Hi,
    Using FBackup I had been able to change the icons for individual backups as shown in the following screenshot.

    Maybe 'icon' wasn't the correct word, but hopefully the picture explains that above each job there is a variety of different 'icon'.

    Thanks for all your hard work.

    p.s. I look forward to seeing this feature as some point, thanks for adding it to the wishlist.

    Sorry, just trying to add the image again:

    Failing that, you can try the link:

    @Admin

    I've looked long and hard and found that this feature was supported by FBackup 4.0.126 as I thought i.e. FBackup did support icons for the individual jobs.

    Looking forward to seeing the return of this feature.

    Seems that the images didn't show up, not sure why. So here are the 2 links to the images of version 4.0.126:

    @admin - It's not very helpful telling your users that FBackup never had a feature, when the screenshots seem to show the opposite.
    @everyone
    Here is my workround: I have created a backup for most of the icons so that they can be used for future projects. If someone is interested then I can post them somewhere so that you too can have the icons that FBackup used to have.

    Waiting in hope for the return of this feature
