Giveaway - 50 licenses for Backup4all Pro

We are organizing a giveaway, where 50 licenses for Backup4all Professional (total value of $2500) will be given to 50 users. All you have to do is create a video tutorial about FBackup and upload it to Youtube - there is no drawing so as long as there are licenses left from those 50, you will receive one too.     Hi All
    I am using your program for a few days now, and overall I was quite impressed until I ran into the following snag:
    I created 1 Mirror and 1 dropdown plugin backup without any problems.
    Thereafter I created 2 "Normal" backups (All files on Drive - Only selected the root nl: D:\ and E:\. The backups were completed without errors, but on inspection of the ZIP folders I received the following message "ZIP folder corrupt"

    Hi,

    If the zip file size is less than 2 GB, FBackup generates standard zip formats.
    This format is compatible with any zip utility available on the market.
    For zip files greater than 2 GB, FBackup uses zip64 technology (which allows unlimited zip file size).
    This format is compatible with WinZip 9.1 or later.

    So must I install WinZip 9.1 in order to make my backups accessable?

    Hi,

    You can restore the large zip files using FBackup. If you want to open the files using another application, please use WinZip 9.1 or later. Windows Explorer cannot handle zip files larger than 2 GB.

    So in order to use FBackup I must now spend R600.00 ($59.00) or is there a work around less expensive? Why did you not design with the basic ZIP program that is bundled with XP?

    You should use FBackup to back up and restore your data files.

    Hi,

    It seems you did not understand. FBackup can create valid zip files larger than 2 GB. As a proof, you can use WinZip 9.1 or later to open them and see they are healthy. It is a limitation that Windows Explorer cannot handle large zip files.
