    I am a new user I want to know if I can copy programs off my C drive to a external drive so I can clean my C drive of all the acumulated junk thats built up and reinstall the programs to a clean partition

    Hi,

    You should use FBackup for data files backup only.
    We do not recommend to use FBackup in order to backup system files/installed software.
