    Hi,

I have just installed FBAckup on one of our machines within our network which has Active Directory. I did manage to backup Outlook even when it was open from a client to a directory within a Server when I logged in as administrator on the client machine. The Backup is failed when I tried to Backup Outlook from a client machines which I have logged In as normal user (no administrative right).

    See the error below:

Any suggestion of how can I solve this problem in order to backup opened Outlook to a folder on the Backup Server.

    Many thanks for the help.

If you don't have administrator rights, you cannot back up open files.

    Backup open files feature works
    - only on Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server or Windows Vista
    - only for users with administrator access rights to copy open files
    - only on local hard drives
    - only on NTFS formatted partitions
    - only if the VSS (Volume Shadow Service) is running and it is properly configured
