After installation and running the program effortless the first time I started the computer the next day and FBackup 4.4 didn't start. It still doesn't start here with Windows 7 Pro. The checkbox to start automaticly with starting Windows has been set to do so but no way....it just won't. Have to start it manually also. And that's the problem...I'm Dutch, I'm over 50.....I just forget. Please tell me if it is possible to set FBackup to start automaticly?! Thanks in advance. I let it run for over 3 hours and still no progress. When I try to cancel the job it just hangs trying to stop. Only way to stop it is to kill process via process monitor. I set Volume Shadow Copy service to auto and made sure it was started. I even tried doing back up of small (less than 5 MB) folder to external drive and still hung forever on shadow copy message. Thoughts? I use Win7 Pro x64. I made a backup on an external drive of my Email (Windows Live Mail) - I selected "Windows Mail" from the drop down list in FBackup. On a separate machine with XP freshly installed (fully updated) I installed Windows Live Mail & then FBackup. I attached the external drive and tried to perform a restore of my Email. FBackup was unable to do this, causing my system to hang (explorer crashed). After initial installation, I can run my backup just fine, but if I reboot the program stops responding. The scheduler still seems to run OK and starts the program, but I get an error message after it launches that it has stopped responding. I can fix it only by reverting back to build 4.2.139 then reloading build 4.2.145 over it, but I have the same problem with subsequent backups and must repeat the fix again for each backup. *Edit* I suppose I should add that build 4.2.139 ran flawlessly and I only started having problems with the new build. I really want to get build 4.2.145 to work becasue it fixed the issue with deleting files when mirroring. Also, and this might be more trivial, the program is not starting automatically when I restart windows. Perhaps this is a side symptom of the other bug.
