Hi,

No, it will install in Program Files/Softland/FBackup folder.
If you cannot find it, install it again and use the default installation folder.

Hi,

You cannot keep multiple backup versions using FBackup.
If you need that feature, we recommend you trying our commercial product Backup4all.

I use FBackup4.4
Currently the backup complete is overwritten on the precedence; I would want to conserve all the backup carried out. Is possible. With which procedure? Thanks

Problem: Kaspersky antivirus detected FBackup as infected and deleted the exe file. That is a false positive and we already contacted Kaspersky to fix that problem. In the meantime, we offer two solutions bellow.

Hi,

Backing up open files has the following limitations: It works
- only on Windows XP, Windows 2003 Server, Windows Vista or Windows 7
- only for users with administrator access rights to copy open files
- only on local hard drives
- only on NTFS formatted partitions
- only if the VSS (Volume Shadow Service) is running and it is properly configured

If all of the above are true and still cannot backup open files please see: http://www.backup4all.com/download/pdf/Volume-Shadow-Copy-Service.pdf

I don't understand how you can offer this program free. It does everything I need and want. It is better than backup programs I have looked at that were for sale. There's no need to look further. This is it.
Congratulations on a good product - and it's FREE

Hi:

New to Outlook, but have been running Outlook Express for many years.

Now running XP Pro with Outlook 2007. Trying to backup to a new directory I created c:\Outlook Backup. Changed file location in Outlook backup utility, saved and exited to begin backup. Got the following Error Copying File or Folder: Cannot Copy Outlook: The process cannot access the file bacause another process has locked a portion of the file.

Would appreciate any thoughts or suggestions.

Thanks in advance.

If you are familiar with world's largest online encyclopedia, you could help us by contributing and adding content via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FBackup (page is empty right now).

We'd be more than happy to add this by ourselves (we're not short of laudatory words :) ), but then we'd be accused of conflict-of-interest.

So thank you in advance for contributing. Bit by bit you'll build it!
