Hi,

1. To find a warning in the log file, please search for "Warning:" in that file.
2. There isn't a single action to perform as it depends on the warning reason.
Please send us the log file to info[at]fbackup[dot]com, to see what the problem is.

Hi,
After my last Backup,I received the message that the Backup was successful with 16 error warnings.I searched the log,but couldn`t see any errors, but there again, the log was so huge I could have missed them.

What I want to know is 1.How do I quickly find what the errors were?.And 2.Once I find them what am I supposed to do about them?

Could someone please elaborate.

Thanks,

Hi,

The problem is with the scheduler task.
Do you use a Windows login password?
If not, please open Backup Properties->Scheduler->Edit->Properties.
Select "With Built-in scheduler" option.
Press Save and see if you still have the problem.

I've tried setting up a scheduled backup that backs up to a network drive. The "test network connection" button shows it is successful. When I try to save the backup session I get the message that there is an error in "IPersistFile.Save." and "code error 0x80041314". The Summary page of the saved backup session shows that it is programmed as ready to backup at 6pm that evening. All items in the summary appear to be correct. At 6pm nothing happens.

I'm using Win 7 Enterprise (French version) and have the Fbackup v. 4.6 build 260.

Any help would be appreciated.

Er, from my previous post I said, "But, scanning the log, there are no warnings in it." I heeded the not at the top of the report and had already dnoe a "Find" for "warning"

Anyway moot point.

Thanks for the reply,

But, scanning the log, there are no warnings in it. Just confused as to where that "1 warning(s):" came from.

If it was not from within the backup, it would be handy to know what/where it refers to.

Hi,

From the partial log you send, I understand the test found no warnings and the backup was made with one warning. The warning during the backup execution could not be related to the resulting zip file tested at the end of the backup.

Whenever I try to launch the application, it immediately crashes. No windows open, nothing flashes, just the error message pops up.

OK. These posts are old. What's the status with backing up open Outlook 2003 with Windows 7? I thought, per the help screens, that I could set up a program to run before the backup and then reopen Outlook when it's done, but those options don't seem to be available either (and should be taken out of the help file?).

Hi,

It seems the zip file in destination is corrupt.
You can try testing it using WinZip 9.1 or later. If the same error is received, you need to run again the backup.

Please make sure the destination drive does not have any errors.
