I recently downloaded FBackup, I am tring to set up the back up file today. I have a flash drive that I want to back up to. I am going to new > local > advanced mode > external hard drive: at this screen the external hard drive screen is blank, so is the pull down, I can not type in it. At the folder field it will allow me to brows, I find the folder I want and highlight it but it will not activate the OK button. I have tryed hiting the make new folder button and that does not work ether. What am I doing wrong?

Hi,
FBackup does not support removable drives (flash drives) as backup destination.

The subject was also discussed here: http://www.fbackup.com/forum/topic/cant ... -usb-drive

Do you know you can monitor your backups remotely with Backup4all Monitor? You can read more here: https://www.backup4all.com/backup4all-monitor.html

Well that is a shame. I went back and looked and I guess that it was talking about an external hard drive that utilises a usb port. This programing is almost perfect for my application, However I want to be able to remove the back up and remove it form the premises in case of bad weather... It would be a great addition. A second grate addition would be scheduling a back up when the computer is shut down so that all data for that day is automaticly backed up. That way you would not have to worry about storms... during the night. I have spent days looking through software trying to find one that would do everything I need, if you would add these two features you would have the best that I have found.
Thanks

Robert

Hi,
At this moment we don't have plans to add such a feature: to run the backup even if the computer is shut down.
